The atelier

One roof in Sidi Ghanem.

Cutting, skiving, edge finishing, assembly, closing, finishing and packing all happen in the same building. Nothing is passed to a broker, which is why a question about stitch count gets an answer the same day.

In house

What we do here,
and what we do not.

Being straight about the second list is more useful than a long first one.

01

Cutting

Clicker press and die cutting for volume; hand cutting for hides where grain direction has to be chosen panel by panel.

02

Skiving & splitting

Edge and channel skiving so folds sit flat and seams do not build bulk at the corners.

03

Edge finishing

Painted, burnished or folded edges. Multiple coats with sanding between, which is where cheap bags give themselves away.

04

Stitching

Flat-bed, cylinder-arm and post-bed machines, plus hand saddle-stitching where a style calls for it.

05

Hardware setting

Riveting, eyeletting, magnet and foot setting, with pull tests on the first units of every run.

06

Branding

Embossing, debossing and foil stamping in house. Custom dies made to your artwork and kept for repeats.

07

Finishing & packing

Cleaning, stuffing, dust bags, tags, barcodes and carton packing to your retail spec.

08

Pattern & sample room

A separate sample room, so prototypes never compete with a live production run for a machine.

09

Quality control

An inspection team that does not report to the production manager, so a fail cannot be overruled by a deadline.

Come and look

The floor is the proof.

Photographs can be staged. A walk through the cutting room on a normal Tuesday cannot. We will show you a run in progress, including one that is not going perfectly.
